Born in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania lives & works in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mark Berton is an accomplished architectural designer and construction manager with over 34 years’ experience in custom home design and construction.  His portfolio includes over 125 custom designed homes throughout the southwestern Pennsylvania region.

Mark is a Professional Member of the American Institute of Building Design and has earned the Certified Building Design Professional registration. He has also earned a AS in Architectural Design and Construction and a BS in Construction Management, graduating summa cum laude. He successfully managed projects ranging from $250 Thousand to $38 Million dollars both in the local residential and national commercial building industries.  He has held corporate construction positions from Superintendent, Project Field Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Director of Project Development.

Mark was the Director of Project Development for a non-profit accessible home development firm in the capacity of new project development, construction management and/or owners’ representative. He was responsible for the approved builder network, and the creation of designs for their accessible housing portfolio as well as their project development programs. His responsibilities included the oversight of project management team, estimating, and scheduling both new construction as well as the home modifications of existing construction.  Mark continues that work through MRBDC and is a Certified Environmental Access Consultant.
